I received this as a surprise present by the band for pre-ordering the upcoming album, so thanks a lot to you, too :-)) As could be expected by Pat Sanders & Co, highly melodic prog that should, for instance, appeal too friends of Fish-era Marillion (although Uncle Fish would never have reached those high notes ;-) ) and some instrumentals (from beautiful miniatures like Bubbles to the more epic Last Supper). Among many other fine things offered here, I especially love Pat's piano playing!

Hats off to Machine’s Dream for adding this glittering gem to my hoard of treasured music! I especially enjoy the simplicity of ‘Starling’; it’s like an interlude of private introspection (a touch of the Moody Blues, perhaps?). In fact, the concerned lyrics of Machine’s Dream are always appealing to me. There’s some nice acoustical guitar parts on this album. High-quality prog rock, here! You owe it to yourself to check it out. Thanks to the band! 8+/10.

Bjorn never made a secret of his Pink Floyd/Dave Gilmour and, as neither do I, it only was a question of time when I added this EP/mini album to my collection. The Karisma special deal helped, thank you very much :-) I don't only love the music, the cover (and title) are also very fitting for this fine Floyd homage!
